Coaching

Almut Späth with guitar

Do you love music but sometimes feel lonely or lost on your musical journey?

Have you experienced roadblocks and plateaus you could not overcome?

Then you might need a coach who is with you on every step of the way, helping and encouraging you to find your own place in music, to express yourself freely and with ease, and to experience ways of learning more efficiently and with more fun.

In my 1:1 coaching, I combine learning techniques based on the latest brain-science research, ergonomics, musicality skills, creativity, and motivational approaches to help each musician find their own path to creative freedom and personal growth.

Each coaching session approaches learning from a holistic perspective and is tailored to your specific needs and personal goals. This will help you learn faster and with joy, become more creative, and to make your musical dreams come true.

In the past years, I have worked with musicians of all skill levels – from beginner to professional – and with a wide range of instruments. Most of my coaching sessions are virtual, so that it is possible to work together no matter where you are.

If you feel that you could do more in music and if you are longing for a deeper connection to music, your voice, or your instrument, don't hesitate to get in touch. I would love to hear from you.

A few coaching spots have just opened and I am offering one-off, 60 minutes trial sessions for the reduced price of €40. This offer is only valid for a limited time!

This is what my clients say:

"Looking back, I can see how far I have come. I am happy and also proud of that.

I regard and FEEL it as a great success which I could not have achieved without your well-meaning, encouraging, positive and professional support which was always full of ideas. Thank you very much."

Beate B.

"Now I understand how to play the guitar. I almost feel like a musician. I keep having these 'aha!' moments. And it's a lot of fun, too."

Lutz R.

Have a question?

Are all sessions virtual?

Generally, all my coaching sessions are virtual. We use a platform called Zoom for the sessions. If you are in Hamburg, it is possible to meet in person for some of your sessions, even though most sessions will be virtual.

What kind of equipment do I need?

It is not necessary to have any additional microphones or cameras for the virtual sessions. A laptop or desktop computer will be perfectly fine. You'll need to download a free version of Zoom before the first session. I will guide you through all the steps needed prior to the session.

Are virtual sessions less effective than in-person sessions?

As a student and as a teacher, I have found virtual sessions to be as effective as in-person sessions. Virtual sessions offer you the safety of your own home and will make it possible to work with me from wherever you are in the world. You will also be able to record the sessions to return to when you are practicing.

How much is a session?

Coaching sessions are €55 an hour. You can also purchase a package of 8 sessions for the price of €400. Payment plans are available for the packages.

How can I pay for sessions?

You can pay for your sessions by credit card or bank transfer.

This is what my clients say:

"Almut has a special, pleasant, calm, and very clear way of interacting with participants and conveying the course material. She addresses all questions and needs and enables all participants, regardless of their level of knowledge or skill, to participate at any time. The presentation of background knowledge on vocal anatomy, support, vocal range, practice techniques, musical notation, and much more was very easy to understand and always practically applicable. In addition to the course content, I also take away the memory of her example of mindful interaction with herself and others. At the first session, all participants were asked what they expected or hoped for from the course: Almut wrote these comments on cards and brought them back to the final session. We were able to confirm that all expectations and wishes were fulfilled during the course"

"This course is simply so much fun, and I've learned a great deal – it couldn't be better! The instructor is outstanding: always incredibly well-prepared and very dedicated. The lessons are varied and engaging, and she really caters to the needs of the group and individual singers. I also appreciate the mix of relaxed singing and the diverse challenges, such as silently singing along in my head and then joining in again. A truly wonderful course that makes you happy. Thank you so much, dear Almut!"

Sound HealingAlmut Späth with guitar

Sound has the power to touch us, to provide deep relaxation, and to hold space for healing and reflection.

In my 1:1 virtual Sound Healing sessions and in Sound Baths organized in collaboration with selected Yoga studios in Hamburg, I create sonic landscapes to help you experience the power of sound. While relying on my voice as my main instrument, I blend in the sounds of crystal singing bowls, chimes, the gong, drums, rattles and shakers.

I would love to create a personalized 1:1 Sound Healing session or a Sound Bath for you, your family and friends in your own space, either as virtual sessions or in-person. Please get in touch to schedule your session with me!

This is what my clients say:

"I feel fantastic. I talk about it all the time to my friends. I've never had a sound healing where I felt so grounded afterwards."

Johanna

"This was so wonderful. I feel more grounded, relaxed and very much in my body. Your voice felt very safe and I did not "see" a story but I felt a lot of internal movement. Like dancing but without moving my body. The session felt very intimate and personal. This is was what was very special and new to me and it was so powerful."
